This Afternoon In Clarkland...The Biographer, Then And Now.

First, the then, from last October:

Next, the now, from Wednesday's Powell River Peak piece by Dave Brindle:

Less than three weeks after the New Democratic Party levelled conflict of interest allegations against Pebble in the Pond Environmental Society president Judi Tyabji in the BC legislature, a notice has been posted on the society’s Facebook page that the non-profit has been dissolved.

The statement reads, in part, “On March 14, 2016, at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors of Pebble in the Pond Environmental Society, the board unanimously voted in favour of this motion: In order to protect the society and its accomplishments, the board of directors has unanimously agreed to dissolve the society effective immediately.”...

No announcement, at least not yet, from the Clark government about its very special, one time only, 'biographer/sheep skinner' combi-grants.

"A Calgary Court of Queen’s Bench judge released suspected fentanyl importer Kasimir Tyabji-Sandana, under strict conditions, pending trial.

"Among those will be 24-hour house arrest at the home of a family friend in Powell River BC.
Tyabji-Sandana is also prohibited from consuming alcohol or non-prescribed drugs."

Not sure if conditions have been altered or ignored since they were established but 24-hour house arrest would seem to preclude him walking about town.

interesting given the story that the original raid on the B.C. Leg. so many years ago started out as a drug investigation. You do have to wonder about these politicians.

makes one wonder about the judgement of some of these people. That is a terrible picture of the J.T and C.C. they really need better stylists.
